My engagement session with Katrina and Trevor far exceeded any wonderful envisions I had in my head for the evening and their final images.
I remembered having a great feeling at our initial client meeting and was thrilled to have them book me for their wedding day.
When me met at the dog park and were only a few shots in, I couldn’t believe the amazing shots I was capturing and so effortlessly. Katrina, is out-of-this-ball-park gorgeous and an absolute natural in front of the camera. I don’t think it was possible to even take a bad shot of this girl. And Trevor, well look at him, he is equally as handsome and not shy in front of the camera. Although Trev had to miss a hockey game with the boys, I think spending the time we did at the shoot was well worth it. After a few sneak peaks off the back of the camera, I don’t think hockey was even close to the only thing on his mind, only his beautiful wife-to-be and their amazing photos.
Katrina is seriously going to make a beautiful bride and for some reason she reminds me of what the epitome a little girl would envision when she thinks of a bride. Like a disney princess almost.
Truly looking forward to their wedding day, enjoy their session xx
I was more than honoured to not only witness my long time friend marry his beautiful wife Ana, but to capture and preserve those beautiful moments for the both of them.
Ana made a stunning bride as I knew she would, and Jason, well he always shines up dashingly charming.
The wedding was held on a gorgeous August day, the weather was perfect, and they were surrounded by all the people most important to them.
The ceremony was held at one of the most beautiful old churches you cannot miss in the heart of Wolseley, the Westminster United Church; while the evening party was held at the Sheraton Four Points on Pembina.
The reception was something i’ve never seen before, filled with surprise performances by the wedding party and the groom himself and the latin dancing that you just couldn’t take your eyes off. if you’ve ever had the urge to try salsa dancing, this wedding would have had you signing up for the soonest lessons you could find.
I wish these two all the best in the world, and now that the cat is out of the bag, a huge congrats to the soon-to-be little man than will make this family of two just a little bigger and happier.
Love you guys xx
What a lovely evening on the Waterfront with these two.
Janna contacted me after Alexis and Johnny’s wedding this past summer, and I couldn’t be happier this sweet sweet girl chose me to photograph her wedding. Janna as you can see is beyond stunning, and you may remember her as the bridesmaid who knows how to commit to a funny photo. I absolutely adore her for her thoughtfulness and know i’m going to absolutely love every bit of shooting their wedding day.
Adam was a doll too, a little nervous as most boys are, but he absolutely committed to the session and pulled off some really amazing photos with his beautiful wife-to-be.
Their wedding at The Gates on Roblin Blvd. is going to be a fairytale setting, and I just can’t wait to get these two in front of my camera and capture a beautiful day with their family, friends, and daughter.
A beautiful bride, a stunning open-back lace dress, a hockey player boy grown up into one amazing young man and husband, and a wedding ceremony filled with as much love and laughter with friends and family, Alexis and Johnny’s wedding will be one of my all time memorable weddings. Congratulations to the boy whom I watched play hockey for years marry such a beautiful bride and loving woman.
