Another relentlessly cold February day, but these two champed it out in one of my favourite shooting spots – the St. Norbert Arts Center and ruins. This location offers such a lovely backdrop in the winter and especially in the summer when all the trees are in bloom and one can head down to the river bank for some beautiful photos in the tall brush and grasses. Melissa & Johns’s Spring wedding is really only weeks away when you think about it and I’m already excited to see many familiar faces of their family and friends from past weddings I’ve shit – this always makes a wedding day extra fun! I’m also thrilled to shoot in their incredible venue – the Metropolitan Center, one of my favourites for sure. With all that said, I’m looking forward to these two kicking off my 2019 wedding season and also looking forward to a significantly warmer day next time we see each other. So until then, enjoy their frigidly adorable winter engagement session. xx
