Basic Invite, a beautiful wedding invite & website resource for the modern couple

There are so many online resources available these days when it comes to free wedding websites, wedding invites, & announcements and usually the big trademark names come to mind such as Minted, Shutterfly and The Knot for such things.

However, what I didn’t know was that all this time, there was this amazing company out there called Basic Invite that offers all these features in one place. Planning a wedding takes a lot of patient & investment of time and practicality, so how nice would it be to have all these resources in one place to help streamline your productivity and keep consistency in your design and the feel you want for your wedding day? Basic Invite is super mobile friendly allowing you to instantly upload all of your wedding details, along with images, and a convenient map with directions for your guests, again, how great is that.

Their wedding websites are completely customizable also and mobile friendly. When people visit your wedding website or receive your save the dates, this is the first impression they receive that will give them an idea of the style and feel of what your wedding day will be.

What I love the most about this site and resource is that the brand and aesthetic is classic, clean and everything is completely customizable from colour palettes, to fonts and if you want the gold foil just like Minted, don’t worry BASIC INVITE has that too! Basic Invite allows the ability to order a printed sample of their invitation so they can see the card’s paper quality and how it will print before they have to place their final order. Each of their wedding invitations is part of a set and include all the stationery you need, like save the dates, wedding invitations, enclosure cards, wedding menus, wedding programs, and even matching thank you cards!

Some of the examples below give you a really great idea on how everything comes together. Complete invitation suites (rsvp, menu’s, address labels and more) right down to the Thank You Cards for after the wedding day. An invitation suite with the matching stationary is absolutely one my favourite details of the day, and I genuinely mean that. In fact, a carry a lay flat kit with me specifically so I can photograph a complete invitation suite as part of the documentation that adds to the couples story of their day. I love styling the bride & grooms details such as shoes, jewellery, flowers etc on a matching mat with a beautiful wedding invitation suite and the stationary used on the wedding day – this gives you a beautiful visual of how the day and style of the couple all came together. Because Basic Invite shows you exactly how all your pieces can come together, it’s what makes it a resource I would recommend to my clients above and beyond all the other resources and invitation companies available.

They also have this new amazing resource that sets them apart which is called the Seal & Send Wedding Invitation Suites – The seal and send wedding invitations are an all-in-one wedding invitation with a tear-off RSVP postcard included! Currently, they offer them in over 30 designs including the as mentioned above, the ever-popular foil options, and, like our other products, they are customizable. What’s special about the Seal & Sends is that guest’s addresses are printed on the front of each invitation so no envelope is necessary! All you have to do is share a link, collect guest addresses, and upload them onto your design. Once you receive your order all you have to do is add postage, fold your invites, and secure them with a sticker! Simple and easy.

You can find Basic Invite at all of the below media outlets.

I would love to photograph some beautiful suites next season, so please feast your eyes on these beautiful examples for inspiration and head on over to their site xx
