From the moment I met this sweet couple, I anticipated their wedding which felt like for a lifetime. As most of my poor 2019 & 2021 couples did, Machaela and Lucas continuously had to take steps back from their original plans to wed at Hawthorne Estates. Ultimately, this couple planned the sweetest most intimate backyard wedding with those they loved and every detail of their day came together so perfectly despite the size. One thing that covid brought for me was the ability to spend a lot more quality time with my couples, less wedding parties and just a whole lot of time to capture beautiful portraits for my couples. Don’t get me wrong, I love wedding parties, but I do very much value the extra time placed on the couple and getting this beautiful shots they will frame in their home. Their birds hill engagement session was also so perfect, a warm evening filled with so much magical light, I’ll save those images for its very own post.
