Jamie & Brett’s July wedding at Whitetail Meadow Wedding Venue was an absolute favourite for me from the 2022 wedding season. I had never been to the venue before and was dying to finally shoot a wedding day there. It’s funny because sometimes couples will overlook hiring you if they haven’t seen their venue in your portfolio or worry you can’t shoot somewhere you’ve never been before. A professional photographer should be able to shoot any venue regardless of whether or not they have been there before and what’s even better, it’s usually quite refreshing for us to shoot someone newer. It inspires creativity and excitement when we get to shoot somewhere different than our usual bookings.

Their day was so well planned from design and feel right to their schedule. A relaxed 9 hour timeline with a second shooter was perfect for catching everything from getting ready photos in the sweetest bridal cottage and loft (for the groomsmen) to sunset photos on the property, first dances and some light party and dancing shoots before we left. The second shooter came in hand for this couples very late wedding party and large family and guest attendance in the evening.

The lineup of vendors includes some of my absolute favourites and the details that brought this together were literally Pinterest worthy!
